Applications should contain the conference abstract the applicant is planning to submit and the completed application form for ONO Pharmaceutical Travel Awards for Japanese Young Investigators with the signature of the mentor or the chair. If you submit an application for the ONO Travel Award, you may hold off on officially registering for the conference until you are notified whether or not you are an award recipient. The eligibility of the applicants is as  follows:

1. 1. Japanese students (graduate or undergraduate), and postdocs at any ages
2. 2. Faculty at the assistant and associate professor level may apply

In alignment with ONO’s desire to promote Japanese science, the following are also eligible:

1. 3. Foreign individuals working in a Japanese laboratory
2. 4. Japanese researchers residing in the U.S. or other countries, who have conducted their abstract work while in Japan

To apply for the ONO travel award, please submit your abstract prepared in the conference required format (see below) along with the application form (see below) via email to info@bioactivelipids.org. The deadline is Sept. 4, 2022. Abstracts will be reviewed by a committee, and the winners will be notified by an email. We cannot guarantee the type of presentation until all abstracts have been submitted. The program committee will then review all abstracts and determine which will be presented as posters or lectures. The type of presentation offered will not interfere with the award ONO Travel Fellowships. Abstracts presented at previous conferences are not eligible.
