The ERF Travel Awards are restricted to postdoctoral fellows attending the conference.
The total number of $1,000 travel awards will be decided at a later date.
Postdoctoral Fellows seeking ERF Travel Awards must meet the eligibility requirements and apply as follows:
Must be registered to attend the conference and submitted the abstract before application.
Collect and assemble the following documents as a PDF file and email to the address below
A letter seeking the ERF Travel Award that clearly and concisely states the needs and benefits of attending the conference (one page limit).
. A letter from the department Chairman (or other appropriate University/Research institution official), confirming the Postdoctoral Fellow status and eligibility of the applicant.
The abstract submitted for the conference.
Have three letters of recommendation (not exceeding one page each) emailed directly to the address below (preferably as PDF file attachments). One of the recommendation letters must be from the applicant’s mentor
Application for ERF Travel Award DOES NOT preclude the applicant from participating in the contest for the Santosh Nigam Outstanding Young Investigator Award. However, application for each award must be independent of the other.
Deadline for the receiving all information for the Travel Awards competition is August 16, 2019
An independent panel of judges will select the finalists and the awards will be announced/presented at the Gala Dinner during the conference (Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019). The winners MUST be present in person to receive the awards, lest they will be forfeited and presented to the runners-up at the discretion of the ERF Board of Directors.
Application and recommendation letters must be sent via email
There will be no refunds given for requests made after the Oct. 6th.
Registration Transfer Policy
You may transfer your registration to another colleague.
If you transfer you will not be charged a cancellation fee. Transfer requests must be received two weeks from the cancel request date or before the meeting end date, whichever comes first. All transfers must be received in writing.
If you are cancelling a previously transferred registration, you will not receive a refund. You may only transfer a registration one time.
Transportation and lodging must be cancelled directly with the resort and/or transportation company.
You must write, e-mail or fax your cancellation request to the resort or hotel, prior to your arrival date.
Cancellation policies vary; contact your specific hotel/transportation company for details.
At the end of the registration process, you will be able to print a confirmation page, which will serve as your receipt. Please save the PDF confirmation page for future reference.
REQUEST FOR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF PARTICIPATION
To request a letter confirming participation at the conference please send your request to firstname.lastname@example.org. after completion of the conference.
Certificates of participation (in the form of a certificate award) are not provided.
Please list each accompanying person on the attendee’s registration form. A fee ($210.00) will be charged for each accompanying person which entitles them to attend the Opening Reception, “Meet the Exhibitors” Reception and the Gala Dinner.
An accompanying person can also be registered later. Please click HERE then click the red REGISTRATION button at the bottom of the page and choose the Accompanying Person drop down choice.
