The Organizing Committee will follow the City of New Orleans’ guidelines in response to Covid-19, which is informed by the State of Louisiana and Federal guidelines.

Vaccination/Testing restrictions have been lifted in effect as of March 21, 2022.

Although the restrictions have been lifted, Covid-19 guidelines and recommendations remain fluid.  In order to be prepared for any change with potential future mandates, at this time the Bioactive Lipids conference registration process will continue to include a secure verification system for vaccination status. This mechanism was built into the registration system and has been live since March 1, prior to the restrictions being lifted.  Vaccinations are not required to attend this conference.

Leading up to the organization of this conference, proof of vaccination or negative antigen or PCR Covid-19 test was required for indoor gatherings at establishments in the City of New Orleans, including the Hilton New Orleans Riverside hotel, where the Bioactive Lipids conference will take place. As such, the Hilton Riverside hotel required the Bioactive Lipids conference organization to have a mechanism in place to confirm vaccination status for all groups/conventions.
