TRANSPORTATION


Participants are responsible for all transportation costs to attend this meeting.

The conference will be held on the NIH Campus in the Natcher Conference Center.

Security Information

PLEASE NOTE: All visitors must enter the campus through the NIH Gateway Center. You will be asked to submit to a vehicle or personal inspection.

  • The NIH Gateway Center is located adjacent to the Medical Center Metro Station at the South Drive entrance to campus from Rockville Pike/Wisconsin Avenue (Route 355).
  • It combines visitor parking, non-commercial vehicle inspection, and visitor identification processing, all in one location.
  • The NIH will process all visitors arriving in vehicles or as pedestrians.
  • Visitors will be required to show one (1) form of identification (a government-issued photo ID-driver’s license, passport, green card, etc.)
  • State the purpose of the visit to gain access to the conference center.

Parking

The maximum daily rate for parking at the NIH Gateway Center is $12.00.

The Natcher Conference Center (Building 45) is 1.5 miles (13 minutes) from the Hyatt Regency and Hilton Garden Inn hotels in Downtown Bethesda.

Metro/Subway

Participants are encouraged to take the Metro from the hotel (via Bethesda Metro Station) to the NIH Campus.

The hotel is accessible by Metro from Ronald Reagan National Airport and Washington Union Station via the Bethesda Metro Station, which is on the Red Line. To access the Metro website, https://www.wmata.com/schedules/index.cfm
